General terms and cancellation policy

1st. General
You and the hotel will agree of the conditions for the room rental.
If no special agreement is reached, the following rules will apply.
For conferences and group bookings special rules applies.

2nd. Ordering and booking confirmation
A booking is binding when it has been confirmed. This can be done orally or in writing.
When ordering, you are obliged to provide your name, address, telephone number,
arrival and departure date and method of payment. You need to inform us if there is any allergies.

3rd. Arrival and departure
The hotel room is at your disposal latest at 15.00/3.00 pm the day of arrival.
At departure, you must leave the room no later than 11:00 am.
The room is reserved for arrival at 18.00/6.00 pm.
Will you arrive later, you must inform us in advance.
Foreign visitors are required to show a valid passport and pay upon arrival.

4th. Cancellation and no show
Unless otherwise is agreed at the time of the booking, cancellations must be made no later than 18.00/6.00 pm on the day prior to arrival.
If you do not show up or did not cancelled, or you cancelled later than 18:00/6.00 pm the day before arrival, you will be charged for one night.
If the hotel has special costs incurred by your order, you will replace them also.

5th. Early departure and stay indefinitely
compensation as late cancellation.
In addition to the price of the time you stayed at the hotel, you will pay for an additional day.
Staying at the hotel for an indefinite period and extend your stay by one day at a time, you should announce your departure at the latest 18.00/6.00 pm the day before. Otherwise you have to pay for one extra day. If the hotel can no longer let you occupy the room, you are entitled to know the latest at 18.00/6.00 pm the day before departure.

6th. Hotel's obligations and your personal preference
additional cost, an equal or better room in the hotel or hotels of equivalent standard.
The hotel is smoke- and pet-free zone.
In violation of these two rules the hotel has the right to charge the customer the extra costs of special cleaning of the room.

7th. Payment
The hotel bill must be paid when you get it, usually upon arrival at the hotel.
When booking more than 30 days prior to arrival, a booking fee of 25% of confirmed amount within 10 days shall be paid to BG 5246-2157, enter the confirmation number.
If the booking fee in not paid the order is not binding for Hotels Kallgården.
Final payment must be paid to us no later than 30 days before arrival.
For bookings beyond 30 days in advance, the full amount must be received within 3 days, but not later than the day before arrival.
If its not payed on time, we may cancel your reservation.
If you miss a payment it´s counted as a cancellation by the customer and the rules for cancellation will apply.
In case of an agreement on billing 10 days net from invoice date, after those 10 days the hotel Kallagården owns the right to charge 20% interest.
Billing fee of 50 SEK will be added.
We accept most credit cards such as VISA, Master Card (except American Express or Diners) and the Swedish currency (SEK).
Hotel Kallgården reserves the right to change prices.

8th. Storage, valuables, luggage and valuables in your room
The hotel is entitled by law, as security for a claim against the customer, hold the luggage and in some cases, following established rules, even to sell the luggage.
Do not leave luggage unattended in the lobby.
Hotels Kallgåden do not have any strict liablily for the property that you store in your hotel room.

9th. Your Safety
Always find out where the emergency exits and fire extinguishers are located.
